Lead - Sales Development
We’re looking for someone who understands our Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution and is capable of building and growing the sales pipeline to drive large scale market adoption. The job is simple - take our brand portfolio and grow it 10-fold.
You’ll be leading a team of highly motivated Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), based out of remote positions all across India. SDRs are a specialized group of individuals always “hunting” for opportunities.
As the target market is USA, you have the added benefit of onsite travel to the USA to interact with businesses at different trade shows.
This role is based out of India and is a 100% remote position.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily activities and quota performance management of individual SDRs
- Recruit, coach a high performing team
- Monitor metrics and help the team constantly improve by understanding their individual and collective performance
- Evaluate and oversee a tech stack to support the SDR function
- Work closely with sales and marketing leadership to test new content and positioning and drive the success of outbound programs
- Work with the lead generation team to build and refine prospect lists
- Work with the marketing team to develop and refine an ideal customer profile and buyer personas
Requirements
- 4-8 years of business development experience in a SaaS company.
- Strong Team Management & Leadership Skills
- Strong Hunter Mindset
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to meet personal and team monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals
- Strong understanding of digital products/ services companies
- Experience with conflict resolution and matrix relationships
- Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Digging deep into the industry, competitors and the latest trends
- Subscribe to a mentality of work hard, stay positive and implement feedback
- Ability to perform in a remote working environment
Qualifications
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development goals and targets
- Proven track record of building and maturing SDR teams in the technology sector
- At least 2-4 years of work experience in driving & scaling demand teams
- Management Degree from a top 20 business school
- Ideally suited for 2014 / 2015 / 2016 batch graduates
